My research is taking me back to the days before the Egyptians - before Moses, to the most ancient civilisations of the world, and strange things are becoming clearer. Our modern religions are like a long chain of chinese whispers - each edition distorting the facts the further away it gets.

In the Japanese Jomon period 12000BC they knew of "Helpers" - of higher inteligence - Magic - that was passed to the Egyptians, and later Moses. Genesis lists FACTS that religion has taken &demonised. Moses asked "God" Who he was? - The answer-"I am what I am" ! .Talk of "Cherubs" guarding an entrance with a "flaming sword"?- or Laser weapon? Jacob's ladder - where Angels, acend, and decend. - Who said they had big wings on their backs? - No - Only that they could fly!

Moses was given a device, a set of instructions, and tools to enable him to live 900 years! - BUT WE LOST IT!

Please read some ancient history and the OT, and tell me what you think - without any new testament quotes please.

  1. Hi, during similar research i found the link below useful / interesting.

  2. I actually love this posting.  I too went back to read the Old Testament using a new and open perspective.  It's amazing how differently it reads.  FASCINATING.

  3. If you think the New Testament is enjoyable now--wait till we find THE unaltered Holy Bible, for I feel the "back up" copy of it actually exists somewhere......very very well hidden.

Is it purely the stuff of pipe dream science fiction to theorize that perhaps mankind, thousands of years in the future---may have harnessed the ability to reverse time travel, and may have "blessed" us w/ such technological marvels back then???  That they may have done so in an effort to cause a "ripple" of chronological events that lead us up to today.

It is interesting talk, albeit such that can't right now be taken seriously......

    ......or is it.....somewhere......secretly?????

  4. Moses--if he existed--never lived for 900 years.  The Biblical account I'm familiar with puts his age at the time of his death at 120 years.  The only non-Biblical references to Moses were written centuries after his death and don't exactly follow the Biblical narrative.  It's difficult to separate the real from the mythology after the passing of so many generations.

I am not sure what sort of conclusions you are trying to draw.  Reading ancient texts and seeking to correlate them with your own personal interpretation might prove to be an entertaining activity, but the texts can't really be taken literally.

  5. I think the earth and mankind have been around for a long time!  the Earth for billions of years, and mankind for many thousands of years. I believe civilizations have come and went many many times, probably because of stupidity and/or catastrophic circumstance. This present civilization will probably self destruct, as many others have, and then life will begin all over, and a new civilization will emerge and everything begins anew.  You and I will probably not be a part of it.  Our time is here and now. Enjoy!!

  6. I am not sure what you are getting at about the laser weapons and such, as I am pretty sure I don't recall reading anything about ancient laser weapons in any history ive read of the world. I am fairly well familiar with the books of Moses and yes there is a lot of stuff written that may be parable and symbolic, and not nessessarily litteral truth. This was intended. We know that the old testament has a fairly good degree of accuracy from its original writting because we can track the textural history. There are about 30 copies of these books going back to a few hundred years after the originals were written. This would give us a fairly accurate view of what the original writtings said.

900 years is interpetive. Remember they werent using a Gregorian calander to measure time.

What we do know, is that Leviticus predicts that Isreal will fall as punishment for rejecting Jesus. The Jews will be spread around the world and given different languages, although Gods people will hold on to thier culture and religion until Isreal is reborn, at which time, God is preparing for the appocolypse.

Facts, Isreal the country did fall shortly after Jesus died. They only became a country again in 1949.

All those years, Jews have held on to thier traditions and cultures, despite heavy prosecution and threat of extiction.

No other culture has survived like this in history, and this was written in the old testament long before it happened. Coincidence? You decide.

  7. WTF are you talking about? You're not talking any sense.

But of course the historical facts of the OT has certain distortions of actual history.  It's passed through word of mouth.  What is preserved is not the actual facts of history but the spirit of it.  They preserve how they felt God's love, how they experienced God.

The Bible might have some mistakes in relation to actual history, but the spirit of it remains true.  The purpose of the Bible is not mainly to recount events in detail that occured in the ancient past, but to let people know across Milenia about God and how he loves us.
