  1. Choose: either give up partying for a while so you can get a better grade...or give up caring about what grade you get for the sake of partying.

Your choice but I reckon you've already proven to yourself that you can't do both.

PS if you "hate" history you're going to struggle to do well so, if you're asking this question here because you are a homeschooler, you should probably ask yourself if you wouldn't be better off studying something else. And if you're studying history as part of a school curriculum and can't simply drop it...you're posting on the wrong board!

  2. dont go to the "celebrations",just go home.

  3. What celebrations are required for you to attend?

With the info you provided I'd say you need to make a choice of what's important to you--basically set your priorities.

  4. I guess you have a choice to make what will be more important, and beneficial to you in the future, passing your classes, or attending celebrations?

Here is a history lesson; what you do today, will affect tomorrow, but when tomorrow arrives, today will be history.

Only you can set your priorities.

  5. Ask yourself this question: what do you want? If you're really interested in getting a good grade for history, partying would of course be out of the way. Start planning. I'm sure you've heard of this before: failing to plan is planning to fail. Which do you want? Success or failure? Once you've set your goal, work towards it. I believe every individual has the capacity in excelling in their academic studies, but whether they want it or not is the issue. Remember, every successful man had once made a life-changing decision, and had worked towards that decision. Similar to you. You can do it if you really want it.
