    the alamo was an important battle in the Texas revolution because less than 100 Texans held off an army for days killing a large part of the mexican army and graetly aiding the revolution. it became the battle cry for the revolution and spurred the texans to great hights in the war.

    the numbers and date you should be able to look up. sorry cant remember them.


  2. the alamo is a place where the usa and mexican army figth for the mexican territory. the president santa anna was capture and force to sell  the lands of california, colorado, texas, and new mexico for the amount of 10 millions of mx pesos.

  4. hey just answering your question like you told me to. i live in texas, and the significance was that the texians and the tejanos defended the alamo against impossible odds (200 to like alot) against the mexicans, and the alamo stands for liberty, and like scrifice and stuff.

  7. The Alamo is a fort Texas and there was a battle there. It became a symbol for Texas independence from Mexico. Texas was it's own country for a few years.
