History Topics???????/ :)?

Question

Im allowed to choose any topic that i want for my I.A for IB history. I am thinking i would like to do something concerning the 20th century in America. Does anyone know of any interesting events that would be fun to research? Thanks!!

I recently did a paper o P.T. Barnum (from Barnum & Bailey Circus) He is really interesting. He had 2 museums that both burnt down and there was a lot of speculation at the time that he himself set at least one of them.

I find the whole "roaring 20s" interesting. I'm really into American Pop Culture so I also like the advertisements you may want to look into something like how it has changed.
