History assessment help please!?

Question

So i have to write a 3 minute speech to the king in the medieval times and im the mayor. I have to talk about what improvements can be done to the town. But like i dont know what there is to improve!! What kind of things were there in the medieval times? Like i know for instance a well for water, but what else? Im so lost.

Please help me its due tomorrow and i havnt even started

The idea of a better well is a good start but how about a city wall for defense and better housing. Hummmm what else?  Better sanitation.  The way people got rid of waste in some medieval towns was to throw the dirty water out the window.
