We're making a monopoly game based on the great depression, the 20's and 30's, with roosevelt being president. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what kind of properties they could be, relating to the theme. And also, it only has to be a version of monopoly, not the same exact thing, so if you have any suggestions, that would be great. Thanks!

  1. try parts of the dust bowl 4 cheap

  2. how about apples to apples or Era game...or theme could be night in Hawaii..that is really good

  3. Call it "No More Monopolies: The New Deal"

Abandon the game dynamic of getting a monopoly (this was part of what created the Depression).

An idea is that you could make each property have to "redevelop" out of the Depression, so each time you buy a property, it starts as a Hooverville, then you get a public works project to build roads there, then people start working and it becomes a nice neighborhood.
