History channel?

Question

they were talking about global warming and teh ice melting. they say the water temp is warming because the ice reflects the sun and without as much white, that will cause it to rise. well i dont know what you think of that, but i had an idea and wanted some input. DO you think that they should make everyone have a white roof or something that will reflect the sun?

probably sounds crazy/impossiable but hey, it was a thought

And to think they let people like you breed, come get your head out of your butt, Global Warming is a big hyped up load of money making scam. Making everyone put a white roof on is the stupidest thing I have heard.

The History Channel is owned by elitist Disney.....and it exists for one purpose, and that purpose is not education...the purpose is MANIPULATION PROPAGANDA.

first, it's a good idea.  you do note that in some areas of the world, all of the houses are white.  that's not an accident.

- one might note that, the ara of all of the house roofs together might be a fraction of the area of greenland.  that said, it's not a bad idea.  however, it's a bit more complicated than that.

++  it makes a difference what the roof covers.  is it an attic?  a small space over the living areas of the house?  cathederal ceilings?  the problem that exists is, what one needs to avoid is having moisture condense in the attic.  if you have cathedral ceilings, clearly it's a good idea.

Have you ever heard the saying, "You shouldn't believe everything that you see on TV."?  In my honest opinion, television and the propaganda that is spewed forth from it, is playing a big part in the downfall of this country.

Doesn't sound like it would work. Also, global warming is completely natural, so don't worry about it.

The History Channel has some show on a few months ago, I forget what it was, but they discussed all of the natural causes of climate change throughout history.  Then, at the end of the show, they snuck in how man is to blame for today's "unprecedented" warming.  Statements like "never has it warmed so rapidly like this", well, it has and it will again.  They have recorded global temperature swings of a few degrees Celsuis in as little as a decade.  It's all propaganda to line the pockets of the "greenies".  The hippy generation has more influence today because they are the older crowd who has some power.  but don't worry, they will all die off soon.  All of that weed, cocaine, LSD, etc should keep their lives short.
