History clear has changed?

some how my history clear has changed , i use to hit histiory and it brought up today or all weeks i could put to side and see the hit clear/ now its changed in some way along with my refresh and back button, i don,t like this and want to go back to original back button and history button,, why did it change and how do i change it the way it was???

I am not entirely sure but you may have your system set to automatically download updates for Windows and Internet Explorer.  Do you recall downloading any updates that also allowed the change of your tool bar.  SOmetimes when you load or update things there is a new toolbar built in to automatically add or update with it unless you are paying attention and uncheck that box.

Go to "Start" then "System Restore" and pick a date that is prior to seeing the toolbar change and reset your system to see if that corrects it.

If you just want to uninstall the toolbar you can remove it rom your control panel in "***/remove" programs.  IT could be a google toolbar or a yahoo toolbar.

Click on the Windows "Start" button

Select "Control Panel" from the "Settings" menu

Double-click on "Add/Remove Programs"

Scroll down and click on the "Yahoo! Toolbar" or "Google Toolbar" entry

Click on "Change/Remove"

Close any open IE windows

Yahoo! Toolbar is now uninstalled. Start IE again after closing all your open IE browser windows and it will no longer be present.
