Help! I have a paper due at 7 am tomorrow on the village of Gordes, in Provence, France. And I don't know when it was founded or anything. If you don't know this, does anyone at least know when Gaul existed?

The areas in question were settled by various tribes of the Celtic people.

There was never a country named Gaul. The Roman province in Northern Italy was called Gallia Cisalpina (meaning "Gaul on this side of the Alps") . The Celtic region outside italy was first called Gallia Transalpina (meaning Gaul across the Alps). After its conquest by Julius Caesar Transalpine Gaul was divided into various different administrative regions.
