  1. This is the history of Indraprastha Institute of Aeronautics :-

    On 2nd day of March, 2006, Shree Bhagwan Singh Educational Society registered under Societies Registration Act-XX1 of 1860. This Society is an educational and cultural body for the welfare of mankind and development.

    Under the guidance of President Shree Harish Krishnia, Society decided to start an Aeronautical Institute providing Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course named as"Indraprasth Institute of Aeronautics" on 2nd day of June, 2006 under Avionics Stream (Electrical and Instrument System), approved by Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India.

    After successful completion of one year of the Engineering Institute, Management decided to also start Commercial Pilot Licensing Programme (CPL). Ground Training Classes are to be held in Gurgaon itself and for Flying Institute has a tie up with Indian as well as Foreign Flying Institutes. So, from July, 2007 Institute also starts Flying Classes.

    Management also plans to start Air Hostess Academy, MBA, MCA Institutes in near future.

    Institute is also having a proud privilege of having Sahib Singh Verma Ji, Ex- Chief Minister of Delhi, as its Chief patron.
