Question

during the holocaust Hitler was planning to invade the world and he was so close.....how did the russians an the americans win?? Hitler was a cruel man but a very clever 1 2 plz explain with details I am very interested in history I have read so much about Hitler but not this

There were many reason Germany lost the war so I just give a simple reason.  He decided to fight 2 fronts.  The western front against the Allies and the eastern against the Russians.  Germany did not have the resources to sustain a war like that.

Also, he insisted on leading instead of letting his generals make the decisions.  Rommel was brilliant but Hitler called him back.  During D-Day Hitlers aides didn't want to wake him to let him know that the Allies had invaded.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean? Are you asking the exact reason that the Germans lost?

There was a series of events that caused this to happen. One main one being the fact that the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. This affected both the Japanese AND the Germans because America entered the war. Had America continued to stay neutral, Hitler would have had a better chance to take Europe down first.

Another major event was when Hitler decided to attack Russia and the campaign dragged on through the freezing winters. None of Hitler's soldiers were ready for such severe cold and, due to this, they got destroyed in Russia.

These are two major events, however there were a number of smaller events that took place that contributed to Hitler's downfall.
