He cracked into the 2012 season by taking part in the Download Williamhill.Com On Your Mobile Novices’ Hurdle on 14th January at Kempton. Victory turned its way to The Druids Nephew, putting Hit The Headlines in the third place.
The 10/11 favourite of the race, Captain Sunshine finished second last on the lineup of ten.
Both the times when Hit The Headlines was entered as a favourite, he conquered the race. His second race of the season can easily transform into a third career win provided that he puts in all that he has got.
Themilanhorse, Milan’s six-year-old bay gelding out of mare Sports Leader, has the chances of being placed in the race. He broke from the 2011 season by posting a victory.
He won the Sage Roofing Ltd Maiden Hurdle on 4th December at Warwick over two miles and five furlongs. Leading by a length, he set the 13/8 favourite of the race, Tour D’Argent, into the runner up’s position.
