Hit and run, where the driver stopped to help but the passenger drove off?

what would happen legally? please tell me something bad to the passenger. :D

say if the passenger got frustrated or mad at the driver and drove off.

Well, it's not illegal, because the driver stopped and helped the guy.  The passenger had every right to drive off.  He could have even gone for help.

It depends on who's car it is whether it would be theft or not.  Otherwise nothing

i always think if someone drives away that was involved in an accident i think either they don't have insurance,its not there car,they have a bad criminal record,or they might have something illegal in the car.

The passenger is always responsible for themselves.

the passenger wasn't the driver but the police will expect to inspect the car and will probably find something

drugs or that the passenger had a warrent out on them
