Hit and run accident help?

hi,

i met with an accident few days back. All I remembered was the number plate of that vehicle. I didnt remember the color and make of the vehicle. I told this to the cop. Today I got my report and there is no mention of the second vehicle. It has been printed that I met with an accident thats it. What should i do in this case ? I am insured with geico. Not even the registration number of the second vehicle has been printed. When cop had asked me about the color of the vehicle, I had told him white color. But he told that the second vehicle should be blue and not white if the information (i.e. registration number) that you have provided is correct. My car has been damaged and dont know what to do.

Just turn everything over to your insurance company and they will do the work for you, remember that is what you pay them for.

They need to dig some more.  Obviously one of the digits is wrong on the number, they need to find a car that's one digit off, white, and a model that could be the one that hit you, and in your area.  They can do that.  Tell Geico what you know.
