my cam is not a DVD-RW but it is ram compatible....doesn't that mean that the ram can be erased and reused? I know it can be erased, I have erased it but I mean record transfer to the computer put on a DVD and the erase, or does that just mean until I have what I want recorded on the Ram and then it has to be finalized by the camera before I can see it on the computer....I am very confused because as of now the computer will not read the unfinalized ram....do you know how the Ram works?

  1. hope this helps... has to be finalized yes, otherwise you'll need a ripper. If you have a Dvd ram driver in your pc, you can access this disk like hard drive C/D easy to drag/drop (and delete of course) unlike Dvd-RW which would need a burner to write.

  2. Try reading the owner's manual. Very useful document.
