Hitachi Household Water Pump?

When we turn the taps on (either hot or cold) we get air? mixed with water, shudder's etc. aswell

Assume you are pumping out of a tank. check out where the suction/inlet to pump is inside of tank , check to see if there is a partial blockage or if it's too close to the top of the water level. Even if it is a fair way down you can still get a "vortex" down to the suction , put on a foot valve or if you already have one get some metal tin and place it over the top of valve so that water can still get in easily this will stop the "vortex" from occurring. 1st tho i would check to see if the priming point on the pump itself is tight and that the seal is in top shape.
