Hitachi digital LCD TV bought

Hitachi digital LCD TV bought in Jan 08. Picture begins to sparkle in places then lines form across picture, it then distorts and gradually disappears from the bottom of the screen upwards. Recovers after about 2-3 mins. Happens every 1/2 hour or so when TV turned on.
