In my great uncles WWII collection I found a stamp. On the stamp is a picture of Hitler, the number 6 in both upper corners, the words Deutsches Reich across the bottom. I was wondering if anyone might know the value. If not then a website to check for the value. I have tried several sites but haven't found this stamp.

  1. The Hitler head stamps are actually common, even today. They usually sell in full sheets or in groups and the price per each in such groups is less than $1 each. They are a very historic item but have little value due to the vast amounts around. They can be found for sale in Numismatic News a weekly coin magazine coin dealers usually have to sell. I have been selling the regular Hitler head at flea markets for $1 each. There are some 3rd Reich stamps that are less common but the hitler head and Swastika ones are common. Hope this helps. The 6 stands for 6 pfennigs a pfennig is like our cent.

  2. Ask somone who works in a museum either goto a museum or call one :)
