  1. I say 6 for 6 is harder because you not only have to have a great night but you also need your team to have a great night in order for you to get six at bats. Every night you have an opportunity to go fro the cycle, however, how many night do you get six at bats let alone six hits.

  2. Six for six, because most players won't have the opportunity to come to the plate six times in a game.  277 players have hit for the cycle in baseball history, and far fewer have gone six for six.

  3. hitting for the cycle, i think is harder, you need speed a some luck to be able to get a triple....

  4. Hitting 6 for 6, I think. You need a certain amount of good fortune to hit for the cycle. If you have six at-bats, you will likely be facing different pitchers and the pressure will be on.

  5. 6-6. First of all you have to be able to get 6 At Bats which means its a whole team effort to get you in there 6 times. Hitting for the cycle has been seen 2 times this year I recall, but how many times do you hear about someone going 6-6!

  6. 6-6, sometimes pros don't even get 6 atbats over the course of two games

  7. hitting the cycle

  8. Both would be a big challenge , but I'd lean towards hitting for the cycle

  9. 6-6

jus for the fact that you proboly will need extra innings to have 6 ab's which is hard to start with

  10. Hitting for a cycle by far and if u hit for a cycle u already have 4 hits

  11. hitting the cycle. Why:

Power hitters tend to be slower and for them to hit a ball good enough to stretch it into a triple is very hard.

people like me who arent strong enough to hit it out of the park tend to be faster. i can get a lot of triples, doubles, and singles but home runs dont come that often.

if you go 6 for 6 the type of hitter can get their type of hit

  12. Hitting for the cycle ofcourse because you have to get a single, double, triple, and a homerun where as hitting 6-6 you can just get 6 singles in 6 at bats.

  13. Although both are tough to get, I'll say the 6 for 6 is harder. First off, you only need four at bats to hit the cycle where as you need six to get six hits. I also think that if a player is five for five, he is more likely to be walked as opposed to someone that is three for five without a homer. All in all, getting six hits in a game is easier than hitting for the cycle, but I don't think a player is nearly as likely to be a perfect 6 for 6.

  14. Going 6 for 6 is much harder than hitting for the cycle. Don't believe me? Players have hit for the cycle 277 times in the history of baseball, while 6 or more hits in a game has occured only 93 times, out of those 93, only 76 went 6 for 6.

  15. Hitting Cycle( single,double.triple.HR)

6 for 6 can be all singles.

  16. Didnt Alex Rios go 6 for 6 today??? i could be wrong.. you asked this earlier too : p

  17. Hitting for the cycle. If you do, you already have four hits. A triple is the most difficult to hit.

  18. Well, if you're 6 for 6, chances are, you probably got a cycle, unless your a one or 2 base hitter, or possibly a stern power hitter. Definitely harder to hit for the cycle though, cause you gotta have power, speed, and luck. Hitting a triple takes crazy speed and a good landing on the ball.

  19. I'd say 6 for 6. Players don't get six at-bats every single game and to get a hit in each of those bats it's tough. Because lots of times a player can hit a ball hard but still make an out. With a cycle, the only tough one is a triple, if you get that out of the way, then the other three are much more doable.
