Question:

Hives on my shoulders for more than a month?

I sunburned my shoulders and then a couple days later hives appeared on my shoulders and upper arms. They have been there for more than a month. My shoulders aren't swollen and the hives don't hurt.

I'm not allergic to any food and I didn't eat anything different. I do have sensitive skin.

What could it be?

  1. Have you tried putting on any cortisone or taking some allergy medicine. You might be allergic to something you may be continuously putting on your shoulders, like lotion or even aloe. Pay attention to what all you are using and if it's something that's not very natural, that's probably your answer. When you sunburn your skin really bad, it usually becomes a h**l of a lot more sensitive than it normally is. Cortisone, some allergy medicine (Benadryl, Zyrtec..etc.), and staying away from lotions might be your best bet.
