Hiya..I have a Mariner outboard..The serials numbers are...684 CS 008798,I need help!!?

This motor also has, Mariner 15C,I assume its a 15 H.P.,I was told it was a 1986,because after that date they were all marked as Mercury,but that didnt sound right to me,but I dont know anymore about it,Model.year,etc....I'm looking where I can find some info,I need a new Tiller Handle....Anybody, got any ideas? Thank you very much...Jimi Harper

Have you tried a Mercury parts dealer.  They may be able to help get the replacement part for you.
