Hiya how much petrol do i need for 181 miles?

im off to oakwood park in narbeth from abertillery and the AA finder estimated it was 91 miles each way takin arond 2 hours each way. i have a clio alize 1.4 x reg 2000 model since petrol prices have gone up i havnt a clue how much i should put in. there will proberly be 4 or 5 of us in the car. before the rise in petrol i used to do around 30 35 miles for a fiver now im not sure anyone help?

i put £40 of petrol in my ford ka which is a 1.3 and it is 127to wales one way.

that amount of petrol gets me there back and extra inbetween or afterwards.

so for just 181 miles you'd probs want £25 petrol.

but it depends on whether you go moterway or a-roads.

and whether your driving straight there, and back. or driving round in between...

a-roads take longer but tend to be shorter amount of miles as motorways have a way of having the junctions miles eitherside of where you actually wanna be.

I'm assuming you are saying 30 to 35 MPG.

Then you will need about 6 gallons.

With 4 or 5 up and the type of roads you will be covering probably around 24 litres, should not go over 25 litres.  Round about £30 worth.
