They nearly all follow the West Coast Eagles.

No-one in that state follows Collingwood.

And the rest support Freo

Only a few support other teams.

But yeah West Coast Eagles are the main ones cos they've been more successful and have been around for longer.

Eagels are beating freo in memberships...bu there are so many eagles supporters they have a huge waiting list. A lot of people I know Become a Freo member so they can watch Eagles vs Fremantle in the derby cos they cant get tickets any other way.

There are 2 AFL teams based in Perth. One is the Fremantle harbour based team, the Fremantle Dockers. The other is the West Coast Eagles. Fremantle is a newer side to the AFL and only entered the league within the last decade. The West Coast Eagles started twenty years ago. At the moment, the West Coast Eagles member base is beating the Fremantle one, by around 5000 people. After West Coast and Fremantle, the third most supported side is Essendon because about half of the team comes from WA.

I'd like to say Carlton but we've hardly any supporters at all at the moment.

The Eagles are the most popular in WA----so much so I think I will change to following them.

and I'll say Carlton (Victorian side) no.3 because they had a big supporter base over there before the 2 w.a sides were formed.
