Hiya there I was wondering whethere anyone knew anything about Moroco or Egypt, Im planning a holiday ???

Hiya there I'm tryin to plan for a trip in August as is my boyfriends 21st (weve been together 3 years) it'll be our 1st holiday, i wanted to take him to either one destination as hes interested in the culutre but I dont know wheres best to stay as were im on a tight budget to see the sites etc please help we'd be flyin from birmingham x

I would recommend a Nile Cruise, it is fantastic and all your trips are included in the price. Your boyfriend and yourself will fall in love with it, as we did.

It´s some years since I last went to Cairo. There was a lot of cheap hotels and also lots and lots to see there. However steal yourself for the noise, the driving, the litter and the middle east smell (toilets). However this goes away after a day or so. (Well actually its still there but your nose gets used to it). Suggest you have a surf around the Internet and  book a room before you go, If possible near the centre or on the island. Don´t stay near the airport (by the desert) as you could be eaten alive by the mosquitoes! and you will need to take a taxi into the city every day. Not cheap but barter and establish price before hand wherever you go to.  Have a good time.

Been to Agadir in Morocco, quite touristy but gives a good intro to the culture. August will be dear, any way you can wait till Sept, prices will reduce dramatically. They have lots of cheap All Inclusive hotels in the area. We went with First choice and they were pretty reasonable.

before leaving england if you are staying in hurgarda or sharm you can book with egypt air for a return internal flight as i did to cairo for approx   £144  for both of you and can book hotel accom for a night or two cheapish in cairo online.The pyramids can then be got to easily and so can a nile cruise ect that way you can have the best of both lovely beaches and the culture of the capital.
