Alexander Hleb joined Wolfsburg in the summer transfer window this year and signed a six-month loan deal with the German side. The attacking midfielder has since made only a handful of appearances for the former Bundesliga champions
and his time has been plagued with constant injury problems.
The boss revealed that he would have definitely kept Alexander Hleb if he was 100% fit and was ready to contribute to the team.

Meanwhile, Hleb was devastated with the news of the exit and admitted that he was working hard to prove his fitness to the side. The Belarusian insisted that he was looking forward to reclaim his form and rebuild his career and
admitted that he did not expect the news. He stated that he was sure that the team would extend his contract and at least give him a chance until the summer next year.
