Creation,

making something from nothing

Building an alternate reality

one brick at a time

Clawing at the surface of a dream

on the brink of great discovery

Still, you can't help but feel

That something is missing

Like a puzzle lacking

a crucial piece

Despite your good intentions

Every effort comes in vain

For art needs no color, feeling

Without it, there is no meaning

Its good. How long have you been writing?

The only thing is i would change "one brick at a time" to "brick by brick". And there is something about "likea puzzle lacking a crucial piece" which spoils the flow...why don't you edit that?

Otherwise I think its pretty good.
