okay, so i know i graduated from high school just a few years ago, 2, but i cant for the life of me remeber how to do the probabilty of genetic traits. Mainly hair and eye color. Any one wanna give it a whirl for me?

I have: Brown hair brown eyes

My mother- brown hair brown eyes

my father- brown hair green eyes

my husband- platinum blone and green eyes

his mother- brown eyes brown hair

his father- brown hair brown eyes

soo im a olive/pal in the winter complexion and he's the same way.

Any ideas?

i finally hear from you girl hows it going haha are you finally preg? well baby will prollyhave brown eyes and brown seems to be pretty dominate so it will also prolly have brown hair to but it may have your husbands blonde when its born or maybe a lil bit down the road but it will more than likley trun brown its really good to hear from you you should email me some times

ok the stronger colour gene usually comes tops. (ok, an example) my hair grew blonde till i was 9 or 10 but my hair now grows black with blue eyes and snow white skin and my hubby is black skin with black afro and brown eyes yet my daughter has a light brown afro and i dont know where the brown came out of cos my dad is black hair and my mom is blonde and my daughter has brown eyes cos brown eyes r stronger than blue! So u have brown hair and he has blonde hair, so baby probably b dark blonde r brown and u have brown eyes and he has green eyes, baby will almost definately have brown eyes, cos brown eyes r always the stronger colour gene. and as for the skin colour, the baby will b pale for a few weeks then gradually build skin tone. afterall, even black babies r born pink and darken quite quickly, and bi-racial kids r born white but tan over a few weeks.

It would really depend on whether or not your parents had a blonde trait that was recessive. Do you have any siblings with light hair? Or relatives? I'm going to assume no and do a chart with just Dark gene.

Basically unless you have the light gene your children will have dark hair.
