i am [14] yrs Old buht ii only get like two or three pimples on my forehead from time to time but i'm not sure if it's because of my hair (bangs) or from eating a lot of junk food because there is a possibilty of both. i have normal skin & don't want it to get any dryer. ii also get a monthly pimple on my chin because i am a girl going to puberty & so i don't think there is any way of getting rid of that one. & is it true that if you pop pimples , you get "craters" and also causes more to come out because i don't get "craters" & the same amout of pimples always comes out but looks really bad. HELP PLEASE.

  1. I have the same thing going on. Usually when I get pimples I just leave them. Since I don't have a whole ton of pimples on my face, I just try to not touch it at all. When I wash my face I pat it with my washcloth instead of rubbing it. I don't get craters from popping them. I use rubbing alcohol to cleanse the needle and then pop it. I get my mom to do it for me though. Cause I'm too chicken. But I don't find that it does anything at all. It dries up but then a week later a pimple pops up in the exact same spot. Which is extremely annoying. I recommend just leaving it and wash your face more than usual. But don't wash it with cleansers or stuff like that more than 2 times a day. It usually just makes your skin dry or break-out even more. Just don't touch it. It will get worse sometimes when you touch it. I mean like the pimple when definitely go away in the next week or so. I'm pretty sure a lot of people our age gets pimples or even acne. If it seriously just doesn't go away try tea tree oil. It stinks like "eckk" but it dries up the pimple really fast. Just make sure to test it on your skin in case some weird rash comes up.

    Hope that helped

Just noticed I wrote a lot

Not sure if you want to read it                 o well

  2. 1. Popping and picking can cause scarring, but if you have good, healthy young skin you don't really have to worry because they could fade over time...I still wouldn't recommend irritating skin that's obviously already irritated. a.k.a  a pimple.

#2. Neutrogena is GOD. sOoooooOooo i'd suggest using some

#3. You're a teen age girl, you're going to get pimples (speaking from another teen age chicks point of view...) Pro active works too....but it also really just depends on the person : /

GOOD LUCK! they're not the end of the world unless you have like really bad acne haha. that just sucks. haha

  3. i have acne too from junk food and soda. i say drink more water lay off the junk food and try using neutrogena wave it works

  4. Pimples on your forehead can be caused from your bangs.

Your hair has natural oils, so try to avoid having your hair in front of your face.

When washing your face, put on a headband so your bangs aren't in the way.

But also try to eat healthier. More fruits & veggies, it's good for you, your hair, AND your skin.

Popping & picking your pimples can cause permanent scarring that will only fade in time, but not completely.

"Craters" are a cause from picking at your pimples also, so avoid popping & picking.

Popping your pimples causes more pimples because when you pop the pimple, the puss that comes out are on your bare skin now, so it causes more.

So, no matter what, do not pop or pick.

I know it's very tempting, but it'll go away if you just leave it alone & wash your face twice a day.
