Please tell me what you think of this dress.

I'd be getting it in ivory/red as I've picked the colors of red, white, and silver of course, for my wedding theme.

I'm a petite woman so this dress would fit well on me, it can be put together for a petite woman...

Also.. do you think it would be strange to have chocolate cake for my wedding cake? It'd look traditional on the outside, but be chocolate inside.. I don't like white cake..

I think its a beautiful dress and wouldn't mind see my finance come down the aisle in something like that. Chocolate cake is fine its your wedding, not the other 150 ppl in the room.

Sorry. It said "Can't load image", but I'm sure it's lovely. Chocolate cake sounds wonderful. I have missed out on the cake for 5 years at weddings due to food allergies, and would have LOVED to eat a chocolate cake back then! I say Go for it! :)

I think the dress is breathtaking. It's a simple design, but if it wasn't then the red accents wouldn't look as great. Very elegant.

It's your wedding - go for the chocolate! I wouldn't worry about it being seen as strange. Sounds like you're going to have the wedding be essentially traditional with a few twists (dash of red on the dress, chocolate cake instead of white) which I really like.

That dress is nice, but the red will take over if you are very petite, it's too thick of a sash.

If it looks like regular wedding cake and tastes like delicious chocolate on the inside, you're good!

That dress is very popular, Ive seen a lot of links to that one on this board. Honestly, its not my style but if you like it thats all that matters. I do agree with the first poster, all that red might just ovewhelm you. Were there any other dresses you were considering?

As for the cake, I love chocolate so I say go for it! We had chocolate ganache cake with a raspberry filling for our wedding cake. And as a guest, I like a little surprise or something different with the cake.

PS: Opening gifts at the wedding reception? Big no-no. Please dont do that.

I think that dress will look stunning. I do believe I am going to look for that dress by alfred angelo. I am a 5 foot 3 or 4 depend on what day of the week and I would wear it!! You will look stunning!!!!! Congrats!!

The cake.. Do what you want and go wild.. If YOU want choc cake go for it!!! Heck we are doing CUPCAKES!! lol... have fun! Its your day!

I have to say that I absolutely love this dress and will proudly wear it on December 13th! I went with white and red though. As for the cake, anything goes these days. The last wedding I was at had three different kinds of cake and one of them was carrot cake. I don't think chocolate would be strange at all.
