Hmmm..how does this mail get around?

Question

Recently, I mailed a letter to the US, on a Sunday at around 12pm. I live very close to the US border. So, if the mailman picked it up on Monday and it was Canada Day on Tuesday. Will my mail still keep going on Tuesday because it is in US hands and US people don't celebrate Canada Day? =P

Just wondering if any holidays are going to delay it.

Americans don't celebrate a Canadian holiday, so your letter would travel to a post office regardless. How fast it gets where you want it to go depends on which major post office it is sent to first. It will take anywhere from 3 to 5 days tops.
