Definitely the Chicken.

God created creatures, not eggs, embryos, cells, etc. And Noah brought 2 of each animal into his Ark. He didn't bring eggs, right?

imo, the egg came first... my imagination told me that some millions years ago, two completely different animals did the mating dance and, walla, the chicken egg is then produced...

I figured it out, the rooster came first when he laid the hen, then the hen laid the egg.

The Egg.  Some other creature like a chicken but not quite a chicken layed an egg and, oh my what a surprise, out came a chicken.

Barksabit is exactly right.  As whatever creature evolved into the modern chicken, it laid and egg and something even more chicken-ish came out.  

Finally, one day an almost chicken laid an egg.  The embryo inside made one more genetic change and out came the first chicken.  So an almost chicken laid an egg, and out came a full chicken.

Meaning, the egg came first.
