Ho do you get good quality on your video camera?

i dont really get it but i uploaded a video to youtube and my quality is horrible and i saw another video and the quality was perfect like i was watching it from tv?? lol how do i get good quality?

The bigger the sensor, the better the quality. How big is the sensor on your camcorder??

videos uploaded to sites like youtube are heavily compressed. more often you can't do much about it. quicktime pro gives you more options but experiment with codecs to see which one gives you best results.
