  1. HO sized house!

    HO scale is 1:87.

  2. I don't think you understand what is involved.  This article from an American magazine may help.  http://www.modelrailroader.com/mrr/defau...

  3. HO scale is 1:87. So it depends on the size house you wish to depict.

  4. HO scale is 3.5 millimeters = 1 foot, so an HO scale house that's supposed to be 10 foot high would measure 35mm.

  5. HO scale trains use the 1:87 scale.  Basically, 1' = 87' HO scale.

If you planned to use a house that's approximately 40' x 85' (just an example with somewhat even numbers), the formula would go:

    (40' / 87) x 12" = 5.51"

    (85' / 87) x 12" = 11.72"

Those would be the dimensions for the house.
