  1. Greek sounds pretty different to romance languages, including spanish. It has a very peculiar sound for the Spanish speakers, very different to English, for example. Maybe is possible to be compared to the sound of Hungarian or other languages from East Europe.

  2. Kalimera George,

I am not Latino, but I have a good command in Spanish language.

And yes, I also noticed that sometimes Greek language sounds "like" Spanish language, in terms of phonetics.

Some similiarities especially with the original Castillan Spanish, with the Spain accent.

For people who can understand neither Greek nor Spanish, I suppose there may be some confusion.

But we know that they are completely different languages, because Greek language isn't a latin language ( even though many greek words have been assimilated in all the european languages).

    Hasta luego !

  3. Well, i live in Latin America. In my country it is not "out of place" to hear people speaking German (we have an all German Channel) and Italian because there are many pure 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation Germans and Italians here. I have 2 friends (from University) who are of Green descent and speak the language. The first time i heard it it sounded like a mix of Italian and German (without the very heavy accent).

Hearing the video of the woman talking and the music video, the sound sounds the same.
