The losing contenders also earned a great deal of respect for showing a laudable fighting spirit throughout this straight-set match.

Latter part of the game was also filled with a lot of sensation as both teams snapped at each other’s heels and stayed close until the final moments of the set.
In third quarter of the set, Eddie and Nicholas were in strong position to bag the opening match point with a notable difference but then their competitors stunned them with a brisk attack.

The following game was also dominated by the NSW Thunder campaigners as they started the beating from very first stroke and kept their rivals at the lower end until the last shot was played.

They put the opposing team under huge pressure by placing an indomitable total of 11 and then doubled the impact by raising the lead in the second half.
Hoang and Michael proved themselves superior as they sealed a straight-set win with a convincing margin of 21-16.
