Hobbies ladies and gents?

What are your favorite hobbies

I collect rocks/minerals/fossils, from shows and by myself.  Plants--mostly orchids and euphorbias. Reading--good fiction.

I have an insatiable, almost unhealthy, passion for macaroni art.

Way too many to count.. I love playing the piano and took 15 years of lessons. I also love hobbies where I can create something that I can use.. Right now, I'm on a big jewelry kick and have had a lot of fun beading and shaping/soldering silver..  I love baking, canning, quilting various other sewing and needlework type projects..

My only problem is that I can only work on one type of project for a limited amount of time before getting bored and having to switch hobbies. I always revisit the hobby again, but, I bounce around a lot during a project.

I wish I was good at painting/drawing, but, no amount of classes seem capable of making me even remotely decent at that.. Same thing with singing, wish I could, but have NO natural talent for it..

I'm an embroidery nut.  I research historical embroidery, stitch it as a historical re-enactor and write on embroidery for www.bellaonline.com.

I first learned to embroider over 30 years ago from grandma - and still strive to match her skills!
