Hockey Birthday questions?

So I have seen people who have asked questions on their birthdays so i decided to do the same!

1.Would you rather attend your team's home-opener or the last game of the regular season?

2.Were you happy with your team's draft picks?

3.Who is your favorite player? and why?

4.What was your favorite birthday present?

5.If you play hockey what position do you play? and for those who don't what position would you like to play?

6.If you are in the Mall and you see a person you don't know wearing a jersey of your favorite team do you confront them and say Go TEAM!! or do you just ignore it?

7.If you saw your favorite player out to dinner would you go and ask them for their autograph or let them have their privacy?

Home Opener

2.Were you happy with your team's draft picks?

Yes

3.Who is your favorite player? and why?

Current player= Jonathon Toews. He is amazing and he makes everybody around him better.

All time= Peter Forseberg. Same reason as Toews. He was an amazing player and made everybody around him better.

4.What was your favorite birthday present?

A few years ago I went to a Cubs game (at Wrigley) and sat four rows behind home plate.

5.If you play hockey what position do you play? and for those who don't what position would you like to play?

I can play all of the positions. In organized hockey I usually played defense, but I occasionally would play on one of the wings. When I use to play hockey for fun in the street, I was the goalie.

6.If you are in the Mall and you see a person you don't know wearing a jersey of your favorite team do you confront them and say Go TEAM!! or do you just ignore it?

I think go team in my head.

7.If you saw your favorite player out to dinner would you go and ask them for their autograph or let them have their privacy?

I'd leave them alone.

1. Last game of the regular season because they were already set in a playoff position but they somehow ended up with over 200 penalty minutes in the final meaningless game of the year!

2. Yes considering how far down they were

3. Daniel Alfredsson- true captain, gives heart and soul into every shift, does it all- PK, PP, scores, passes, defends, and makes defenders look ridiculous.

4. San Jose Sharks tickets on my 6th birthday

5. I play Center for in district league team

6. might confront them, depends on how friendly they look haha

7. depends on who they're with, family= leave alone, friends or other teammates= give it a shot

Happy B Day

1) Depends if we are raising the Cup banner, or if it is a pivotal game down the stretch for a playoff spot or Pres trophy.

2) Yes (K Holland on your side)

3) Pavel Datsyuk...The electrifying, two-way player that he is.

4) Can't say here, I'm an adult. (Sometimes)

5) D for most of my years.

6) I try to make eye contact and go from there. Also depends what city I'm in.

7) Again it depends on where at and who is with him or not etc. I have at bars etc but not at a 3-4-5 star rest, with family etc. Privacy is key.

1. Home-opener. Too often do last regular season games not count for anything. At the home-opener, the players are excited to be playing at home again and so they have a lot of energy.

2. I like that they picked a D-Man, but I think that they should not have traded their second first round pick to Washington for another D-Man. They should have picked a goalie.

3. All-time: John Leclair-Great player and nice guy

Current: Kimmo Timonen/Mike Richards: Timonen is a great defenseman who does all the small things, and Richards plays with a lot of heart. Both guys seem really nice, too.

4. I don't remember all my birthday presents from my whole life.

5. I play defense

6. Ignore it, I don't feel like making a big scene

7. Talk to him after dinner.

1.  Home opener, the crowd is ELECTRIC.. i work during toronto maple leafs games and am at everygame and think opener is amazy

2.  Leafs, amazingg.. trading up to 5th for schenn was sooo worth it.

3.  Jordan Staal, his potential is unreal, he is an amazing stick handler and can read the ice really well.

4.  For my 19th bday i got tickets to the Leafs vs. Habs game in toronto.. so much fun.

5.  Usually wing, but for one of my teams my coach would put me on D every so often cause my cardio was really good and i could get back quickly if we needed someone offensive on.

6.  GOOO TEAM, i always do it too haha.

7.  I would go over, but i would wait til they are done eating, not disturb there meal.  or if they are just getting there, wait til they sit down.

3. Ales Kotalik. I was living out of state when he was signed, so I learned mostly about him over the Sabres Insider, when I finally got to see him play a game I was like, "Holla back yougin". That and I'm hopelessly in love with him, but that's an after fact.

5. I think Id be an ok goalie, Im very flexible and my knees are alreadys hot to S***e so whats another few years? Nukkah please, I laugh at joint pain.

6. I live in Buffalo, its not an oddity. If the person had a Kotalik jersey Id say good choice...course I think theres exactly 2 of us who own one in the entire city...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

1.) Home opener - I miss hockey!!

2.) Yes.  Tedenby was a great catch.  He was ranked a lot higher, and Lou Genius Lamoriello traded down twice and still got him at pick #23!

3.) Brian Gionta because he is such a hard worker.  He was told by his college coach that he better get an education because he wouldn't make it in hockey, but he was drafted by the Devils and broke the Devils' scoring record with 48 goals in a season!  BOO YA!  He's also super nice.  I met him a few times :-)

4.) My digital camera, or my computer.  Hockey-wise, my friend got me a photo of Travis Zajac and he signed and it  "Happy 18th Birthday Sara, All the Best - Travis Zajac 19".  I love it!! :-)

5.) Center, and I'd be #9

6.) I ignore it.  Most of the time its butch men so I kinda ignore it.  Unless the person looks friendly!

7.) I would let them have their privacy.  If it was at like a store or the mall I would go up to them and say hi and ask for a picture.  But if it's dinner I would leave them alone.

3.) Peter Bondra, Wayne Gretzky, and Alex Ovechkin.  Bondra was my childhood hero as was Gretzky, and Ovechkin is just so passionate and explosive he's just plain fun to watch.  

4.) Doctor's not saying i was cleared to play.  Seriously it was for my 16th birthday, my mom wrapped it and everything.

1. That's a hard one. They're both pretty exciting, but the last game is less exciting if they're not going to the playoffs. So home opener.

1. Depends, if it is a crucial game the last game of the regular season, otherwise probably home opener.

2. Yup, I think this year Leaf's had a great draft.

3. Mats Sundin; he's an amazing player and extremely classy.

Darcy Tucker: He was my favourite player last season, and although his stock has dropped slightly this season, he was still my second favourite player on the Leafs. He may not be the best player but he gives it his all every night.

4. Clothes probably.

5. I would probably play forward, I like being the person who scores the goals and gets the glory.

6. It's whatever, lot's of people have Leaf jerseys where I live. We love the Leafs! Unfortunately there are those losers who wear the Sens and Habs jerseys as well.

7. I'd let them have their privacy and when their about to leave I would ask for their autograph.

3) I have several, including Saku Koivu; my dad died of leukemia so what "Sakulle" has overcome is truly inspirational

5) I sometimes play goalie, I sometimes play centre or wing. In my late teens I mostly played defence.
