  1. Can you narrow that down a bit? Do you know how much hockey history has been made in seventy years? Just wikipedia hockey until you find something that you like and think you can make a fun paper out of it.

  2. "From Before the mask to Behind the mask"

    Hockey through the years.

  3. I would pick my five favourite seasons which I didn't see LIVE but which are legendary : the 1956 - > 1960 Montreal Canadiens, when they won 5 straight Stanley Cups, during Rocket Richard's last 5 years in the league. You could talk about how Quebecois stars like Maurice Richard, Henri Richard, Jacques Plante, Jean Beliveau, Bernard Geoffrion, Doug Harvey and Dickie Moore (Anglophone but Montreal-born) and others showed that Quebecois are d**n good hockey players

  4. Editorials are pretty broad, no?

You could do a comparison of the late 70's Islanders/80's Oilers and the transition between the two power houses, their players, key drafts, etc.

Or you could explore the huge gap in Detroit's glory days in the 30's/40's/50's and their recent streak of dominance.

    There's also Montreal's record 24 Cups.

  5. The 1972 Summit Series and Bobby Clarke's slash on Kharmonov in Gm (Dirty or No)
