  1. 1. Montreal Canadiens

    2. -1st or 2nd in Eastern Conference

        -Eastern Conference Finals

    3. C-  i think they could've done a lot better that just create rumors about getting Hossa

    4. The fact that they created a lot of hype about getting an impact player and in the end nothing special happened.

    5. I personally dont think they would trade or sign anybody before the season because the minors team is stocked with talent that the habs could use to their advantage. If they do make a move it will probably be at the trade deadline.

  2. 1. Calgary Flames

    2. Figting for the last 2 playoff spots

    3.  B-

    4.  Signing Bertuzzi

    5. Not before, but pretty early, probably by mid december

  3. 1-ducks

    2-82-0+16-0=stanley cup champs

    3-A

4-Letting Big Bert Go WTF we need him to go cripple lidstrom like he did to moore

    5-no

    BOOM

  4. YES!! i know some of the guys are at the practice rink already

    1. caps

    2. at least eastern conference semi-finals

    3. B+

    4. Huet scramming

    5. not really Mcphee says he wont be making a move but he's said that before and made trades(ie the trade dealine) but i dont think anything is going to happen

  5. 1.Sens

    2.Stanley cup or bust

3.B. We got the two things we needed grit(ruutu and smith) and leadership (also smith). We got rid of emery and we still have a pretty good goalie in the net and another good young one in the minors (elliot)

4.not much that then sens have or haven't done has shocked me yet this offseason. Not ridicoulisly over paying a goalie or defensemen was smart. We can replace guys we lost with prospects.

5.Well if Meszaroz doesn't take the deal we offered him we have 7.5 million in cap space for a certain swedish center, currently mulling over retirement(that would be a big middle finger to leaf fans)

  6. 1 Toronto Maple Leafs

2 13th place in the east

    3 C-

    4 Jeff Finger deal

5 Well McCabe is supposedly going to Florida. They might sign Sundin if anyone does.

    --------------------------------------...

    1 Dallas Stars

    2 3rd in the West

    3 B,they didn't do much

    4 Avery, ugh

5 Not at all, I think they are done.

  7. Very excited!  This is my favorite time of year...football and hockey getting underway....yeehaw!

    1) The Pens

    2) At least advancing to 2nd round in playoffs

    3) B

    4) Losing Hossa...not that it was too shocking, but I

        admit, it stung a little.

    5) No

  8. 1)  The Lightning

    2)  I am going to be optimistic.  Realistically, I expect the Lightning to make the playoffs.  For the past few years they could never find anybody to match with Richards, therefore the Lightning did not have a successful 2nd, 3rd, and 4th line as far as forwards go.  They now are going to have a solid 2nd line, therefore, I am looking forward to much more success.

    3)  They picked up many forwards and neglected the D.  Hopefully they can score more goals that Kolzig can defend, lol.  Speaking of Kolzig, he couldn't do it in Washington, why is he going to do it here?  Well, I am going to cross my fingers and hope for a career year.  Smith is a great goalie, but just needs a little more fine-tuning.  I am also glad the Lightning finally added some players that are not afraid to drop the gloves, such as Malone.  I give them a C+ for trying to make some changes.  Some teams have done nothing and are going to lose again.

    4) Obtaining Melrose shocked me the most.  I hope OK Hockey and him are super tight to wipe the dust off of him and ask if he wants a coaching job.  I was a bit bummed out about Boyle, but then again, you don’t name your cattle.  I wish the best for him in San Jose.

    5)  Who knows with the way they have been obtaining players, I would say they get another forward, lol.

  9. The HABS

    2.  Stanley Cup (Its always the goal and only goal)

    3. B

    4. Getting Big George Laraque

    5.  We have 6.5 mill in cap space and their are some teams that are over that so yes good chance we will make an addition.

  10. 1. Devils

    2. Let's go with division champs to start!!!

3.B- very proud we finally had an off season.

    4. F-ing Hossa

5.I can see Gomez or Dowd comming back with this retro group.

  11. 1. Toronto

    2. Draft Tavares next June

    3. F for Finger!

    4. Getting the Finger, not getting rid of McCabe

    5. Hopefully, on Monday McCabe will be going to Florida!

  12. 1) Panthers

    2) I am not sure of my personal expectations until I see them practice in person. But people down here are saying another run at the playoffs and either just making it or just missing out (again)

3)C. Not sure the moves will pay off as of yet

4)NO real move has shocked me. I knew Olli was going. I am glad we got players . I think maybe Bouwmeister only resigning for one year is the biggest one. He will most likely be gone before the deadline if this are not going well.

5)I do not see anything before the season starts. But I can see Bouwmeister being gone by the deadline possibly if things are not going well.

  13.   1)  Anaheim Ducks

      2) Pacific Division Champs.. 1 or 2 seed in the West. With Teemu and Scotty back for a full year they will be legit Cup contenders again. I would say at least the WCF and maybe another Cup.

      3) B - Let Bertuzzi go - thumbs up..Signing Perry long term.. 2 thumbs up!  Morrison is an excellent pickup for us.  As soon as they can trade Schnieder and sign Selanne I would change the Grade to an A!!

      4) No real shockers this year.

      5) I do expect Schiender to be traded in the next couple of weeks and Teemu to sign after that. I don't see anything else on the horizon but ya never know.

  14. 1. the flyers

    2. i expect them to do better than last year because gagne will/should be healthy this year. i expect big things from him. i also expect some young guys like lupul upshall and downey to do some pretty big things

    3. i would give their off-season somewhere between a b and a c. we didnt really bring in any amazing players. i think eminger will be good back at d but i expected a higher skilled player back there.

    4. the rj umberger move shocked me. he did wonders for us in the playoffs. i was very surprsised when it was him that was moved.

    5. i know they want to bring claude giroux on board which i am looking forward to. i heard that they were going to trade either knuble or lupul for some space but lupul just signed so it might be knuble. not sure of it though.

  15. 1. Hurricanes

    2. The team should compete for the division, and depending on how Theodore plays in Washington, they could win it.

    3. I'd give them a B.  Picked up a couple defensmen.  Traded Cole.

    4. Not finding a RELIABLE veteran goaltender to back up Ward.  Sure Leighton looked good in the "A" last year, but I'd have liked to see a reliable vet.

    5. No, they are getting many players back from injury that should make a difference.  However, if goaltending falters, possible addition of a goaltender.
