Hockey: New York Rangers Tix for 08-09 Season?

Question

Just want to make it clear that I'm not looking for ticket packages or season tickets...just individual tickets that I can get for a home game sometime during November in the first part of next season. I'm wondering when the earliest possible date to get tickets for a Rangers home game at MSG for sometime in November during the 08-09 campaign...when will they be available for individual sale and what would be the cheapest/most affordable way to obtain them? Box Office or thru Ticketmaster?

the games dont sell out fast

i go online the day b4 the game and they still have tickets

i dunno, i got some pretty dam good tickets this year, i regret every single one of them though

when the summer is over you can go on the rangers website and check when they go on sale but you will have to buy them quickly because ranger tickets sell out really fast. last year they were sold out in like 2 minutes. if you don't get to buy them though you can try to go on the rangers website and go on the rangersticketexchange and try to buy them. if you don't want to do that you can try stubhub but the people that sell their tickets their usually try to sell them for a lot more money than ticket master does so you best bet is to try to buy the tickets the minute they go on sale but that is really hard

Well, there is a waiting list for season tickets over 1,000 long, so I'm glad you're not looking for those.

Tickets go on sale towards the start of the season... probably september sometime.  Check www.newyorkrangers.com at the end of the summer, and you will find out.  The box office is run through ticketmaster, I believe, so they're one and the same.

I should warn you though, the games sell out VERY VERY quickly.  The chances are high that you will not be able to get tickets for the game that you want.  Craigslist, Stubhub, and Rangersticketexchange are all good places to find tickets... they always have some available on there.

EDIT:  Kurfadle, the entire season sold out before the preseason started this year.  Sometimes they release some tickets the day of the game, but that's hardly something you can count on.
