  1. Personally, I would ask one of my coaches. They pretty much know your abilities & might even be able to give you a few tips.

  2. well im not sure i would probably say you should play a couple more seasons for some more practice but if your coaches really think that you have true talent then keep working on your goaltending a little longer.

    good luck man

  3. I am 50 and have played hockey all my life.  My eldest son plays and he loves it too.  My suggestion is that if you can afford it try a goaltender's camp.  Get some individual coaching and support and set a goal for rep try outs next season.  If you are serious about hockey and love to play definitely a rep team is where you should be.  The tryouts will really help you: they can be grueling and they can be a real eye opener.  You might see that really playing hockey at that level is not for you, but then again it might really turn your crank and your life may never be the same.  Also, be sure to have parental support.  Moms and Dads can be your biggest supporters and counsellors.  There are few things that fathers (in Canada at least) enjoy more that watching their kids play hockey.  Good luck at the best game in the world.  It doesn't matter if it is your first or third year of hockey.  But remember what is really important - have fun and enjoy being on a team.  Like I said, I have played since I was a kid and it is truly one of the most enjoyable activities I do in my life.

  4. I'm a 13 year old girl and I play rep hockey, actaully B and i think you have a good chance on making it! Because I know for sure that if your coaches say you are very good then go for it! I know there is more of a chance for a goalie to get onto a rep team..cause obviously they need more players than goaltenders. this year is going to be my fifth year playing and only my second on rep...rep is amazing! its so much fun..and i made a lot of new friends playing rep. You get to travel more and a lot more games than houseleague. now that i look back i wish i would have tried out a few years back. If you don't make the team oh well...you can always try next year =)
