I miss Hockey soo much. Ever since Detroit won the cup its all about Soccer. I missed Hockey soo much that I had to turn to Youtube for past Hockey Games. Who else misses Hockey? And what teams would you want to see face each other right now?

And didn't you say you were a Leafs fan? I would like to see the Leafs beat the Sens or the Habs. Other than those teams, I would prefer to see Toronto tank next season.

I don't have to miss Hockey, my son plays on a competitive league and they are doing summer, round robin Hockey right now! I can get my fix whenever i want. That said, i would like to see Anaheim kick the c**p out of Detroit!

Want to hear a cool Anaheim story? The Ducks are my 14 year old Goalie son's favorite team. He plays at the rink where the guest teams practice when they are in town.

Two years ago, in March, the Ducks were in town, it was his Birthday, we had tickets to the game and he got a Giguere Jersey for his B-day. The day they were practicing he was in school, about 40 miles from the rink. I started calling the rink at 8 am to find out when they would be on the Ice, finally got hold of someone about 11, she said, they are on the ice now, should be here for another hour. I dropped everything, took him out of school and we headed for the rink. We got there and ran inside, no DUCKS! The rink manger said, they just left, you might be able to catch them getting on the bus, so, we run around back, no BUS! ;0( We were very sad, we walk back around front to the car and there is a well dressed man sitting on the bench out front eating a sandwich, we walk past him, he looks at us, we look at him, I turn to my son and said "That's a Hockey player isn't it?" Son says "Yeah Mom, that's Teamu Selane`!" We do an about face and go up to him, my son is toungue tied, so I said to Teamu, "Aren't you Teamu Selane?" BIG GRIN, missing teeth, he says "yes".

So I push my son toward him and tell him, the Ducks are his favorite team, today is his 12 th birthday, will you sign his jersey? Selane says, as he's signing, "You like Giguere?"

My son says Oh Yes! Selane says, Well, we are staying at this Hotel downtown and the whole team will be going to dinner about 6, if you were in the lobby I think we might be able to get Jigger to sign your jersey"! So, off to the Hotel we go, get there about 5 and hang out, pretty soon Players start coming down to the Lobby, they start telling each other, hey, sign this kids jersey, it's his birthday! He got both Neidermeyers, and ten other players, already had Selane's, and they are all standing around him talking to him. the elevator door opens and there's Jigger! Walks up behind my boy, looms over him and says, "Would you like me to sign that?" My boy's bottom jaw hit the ground, he dropped his laundry marker, (best thing to get a signature with!) and got to talk to his Idol for 10 minutes, it was the coolest day!

Ever since then, they are my absolute FAVORITE team!

They were so good to him. We will never forget it.

Oh man, I don't think I will survive the summer without it. I am sitting at home all day now that school's out and I have no hockey or recent highlights to watch. I am probably going to watch the 10 best games in Pittsburgh Penguins history DVD a few times...I would really like to see anyone beating the Leafs right now!

i miss hockey a lot. during the summer i have withdrawal's it sucks. everyday i check the nhl website and the rangers website just to get some news. the most exciting part of the of season is draft day and the day free agency starts. but that still isn't as good watching games. a game i would like to see is islanders vs. rangers or devils vs. rangers.

well just keep track of the offseason trades and  get ready for preseason hockey i'm jonesing so bad myself i even watched the mighty ducks disney movie. i'm almost desperate enough  to watch slapshot 2! *cringes*

Someone asked me how it felt to be such a big hockey fan, and what it felt like during the off season...i equated to a crack fiend going through withdrawal.  

I can't wait for the start of training camp in mid september because I know the season starts soon after!  Approximately 105 days left until the start of the season (give or take cuz they usually start around 5 October).

I would pay to see any teams playing right now, as long as it was good hockey.  So I guess that leaves the Maple Leafs out of the picture.

I miss hockey too. I've turned to playing NHL 08 all day. It's the closest I can get.

I'd love to go outside and run around and do something.....forget about hockey, but the weather has been horrible! Either it's really hot here in Eastern PA or it's storming. And currently it's storming where I am.

I'd love to see Pittsburgh vs. Philadelphia right now. God, would I ever....................

are you serious? you're only all about soccer after the hockey season is done.

hockey is never done even in the summer. there's still lots of news, and it's gonna start anytime soon.
