a) Who are the biggest losers in the off season?

b) Also, what is your favorite team and how would you rank how they have done during the off season?

c) Who will win the stanley cup?

The Rangers lost Jagr & Straka that is big for there team moral. Not sure that it will make a differance on there team but surely lost big names.

Devils Very well we got alot of things we where missing.

Hopefuly the Devils!!! But as long as it's not Hossa's team who cares!!!

a) LA and Atlanta, but that's a given.

b) Detroit did well with re-signing Stuart and signing Hossa but they didn't leave themselves a lot of room for Filppula.  I'm not how I'll grade them until arbitration is done.

c) It's still too early to tell.  There are still several factors that have yet to be thrown into play, such as chemistry (which we won't find out about until the season starts), how a team will react to new coaches (which we can only guess at), and any addition moves throughout the season (which will really get wild in March).

surely they got naslund and redden, but they lost jagr, straka, and avery

my favorite team is the ottawa senators and i think theyve done fine. they lost emery (thank god), stillman, commodore and redden, but they also got alex auld (G), brendan bell (D), jason smith (D), Jarkko Ruutu (F) and re-signed chris kelly (F), shean donovan (F) and they are gonna resign vermette(F)  and neil(F), so i think theyve done very well

i hope that the sens will, but despite the hopes, that will probably not gonna happen. I think that tempa has a shot, along with detroit, washington, pittsburgh, montreal, san jose, dallas and ottawa (:P)

i have to say half and half for Rangers because first off they got some big deal like naslund and and wade redden which can help a team with defence because redden a great defenceman for a team i would like to him on my team but then Jagr move to russia to play which i think Jagr should of stayed because i think this year they have a really good chance to get to the finals if even one works hard including the goalie.

Rangers because they have lost Jagr, Straka, and Avery -(major loss)

Devils- done very well by pulling off bringing back Bobby Holik and Brian Rolston

who ever has the best team chemistry and good coaches

the rangers lost big names...jagr, straka.. tyutin...but they also dumped alot of baggage...hollweg, strudwick,backman

they gained naslund, zherdev and redden...so i dont think they were the biggest losers

the biggest losers were the Islanders, who lost satan and fedotenko, who both could score (not that they did in an Islander uniform) and brought in Weight and signed Witt to an extension and thats it, no names whatsoever...and their coach quit during the summer

my favorite team is the rangers (if no-one knew already) and they will make the playoffs but wont go far
