Bruins, Celtics, Pats or Red Sox

In Boston, if all four teams won championships in the same season, the ranking would be like this:

1) Red Sox

2) Celtics

3) Bruins

4) Patriots

Boston is a baseball town first and foremost.  The Celtics have been their best overall team.  If the Red Sox get bad, you still cannot get a seat in Fenway.  The Celtics and Bruins don't quite have that type of drawing power but not as bad as some towns.  The Patriots, when the time comes that they get bad again, they fade from the consciousness of may Boston fans.  I think it has as much to do with the fact that they are not in Boston as anything else.

I would say the Sawx.When they broke the 86 year curse it felt like the jinx was lifted from Babe and the city could sigh relief.Then I'd say the Celts..Bill Russell and Larry the Legend still can't walk down the street in Boston today,then its the Pats.Even though they are big in Boston they don't even play in the city,and if they disappear like they did for most of the 70s and 80s you would see the true Pats fans that stuck around during the Tony Eason days.Then its the Bs,been bad for awhile and haven't won a Cup in decades so of course with the other 3 winning their Championships they would be in last..Interesting if you ask this question in the 70s what type of responses you would have gotten then.

EDIT: Everyone seems o be saying the Celtics ahead of the Pats. But what Bibby said was true, nobody payed attention last year. And they still didn't talk TOO much about em until the playoffs rolled around. Everyone around here loves the Pats, I know plenty of people who could barely get out of bed after the loss...
