England’s manager, Roy Hodgson is confident that Danny Welbeck and Glenn Johnson will be fit in time for the Euro 2012.
Hodgson kicked off his managerial career as the England boss, after watching his side beat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Norway-c2974 by one goal to nil.
In the game, the manager had no option by to use http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Martin-Kelly-c24395 in his squad, given the fact that Glenn Johnson was injured and unable to participate in the game.
At the same time, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danny-Welbeck-c10233 is also still on the recovery table, after picking up an injury way back in April.
Despite these setbacks, the manager is confident that that duo will be back to a hundred percent in the near future and once that does happen, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 will up to full strength and looking to run riot on the pitch.
When talking about the duo and them returning to the team, the England manager is reported to have said: “You know, we've had our doubts during the week, but both of those have taken more and more part in training during the course of the week.”
"They're coming back into camp early. Both are coming back on Monday evening rather than Tuesday morning to do a bit of extra work, so basically I'm satisfied with them."
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Phil-Jones-c29903 also seemed to pick up a knock in the game, as he was complaining that his hamstring seemed to be causing him problems.
However, Hodgson once again insisted that Jones would be back to a hundred percent sooner rather than later.
He added: “Jones was just a bit of tightness in the hamstring which came from running so much I guess."
England already have a number of concerns in their midfield, with the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Barry-c14423 and Scott Parker yet to be back in the squad, given their injuries.
Should the team also go on and pick up injuries to their defenders then their chances of winning the Euros are as good as over.
Nonetheless, it is still too early to say anything and it now a wait to see just what players manage to get fit in time to compete in the competition and which ones will be left on the sidelines.
