The English FA have gone on to appoint West Brom manager, Roy Hodgson as the new http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 manager, as they offered him a four year contract, with which to try and manage the team.

With the FA making the manager such a long term offer, it seems like they aren’t only looking to have him around for the Euro 2012, but they probably hope for him to stick around till at least the 2014 world cup.
The newly appointed manager seems to have taken to his job rather well and is more than satisfied with getting the job.
However, the manager feels that in order for him to succeed as the new England boss, he is going to have to win over the players at the team, as he wants them to cooperate with his tactics and his philosophies.
When talking about his new job and the changes that everyone could expect to see, Hodgson is quoted to have said: "Every coach has got to win over players, there's no question of that, that's part of your job. It won't be the first time I step into a job
where I'm meeting a group of players, many of whom I don't know, and my first http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 is to win them over.”

"I'd like to think that, given my CV, given the work I've done over the years, I've succeeded fairly well with that"I don't have any problems with it but I think every coach's job when he enters a new job is to win the players over, to make certain he gets
the players on his side, to make certain the players are united if you like behind the cause, and our cause is a very important one, a very big one.”

“It's the England football team. It interests a lot of people. I have a lot of responsibility but then so do the players."
