England’s manager, Roy Hodgson has admitted that he is proud and delighted with the way his side played against France and that he expects the team to improve even further from here on.
During the game, England went on to take the lead via a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joleon-Lescott-c18941 header. The defender created space for himself, before thumping the ball into the back of the net with ease.
However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joe-Hart-c18699, as he struck a low shot from outside the area.
The ball was struck with Hart’s vision being blocked by a few players and as a result, the keeper reacted rather late and saw the ball sail past him and into the back of the net.
Despite the draw, Hodgson and most of the England squad seem to be happy with the way that they played, as hardly anyone expected them to get anything from the game.
When talking about the game and the way that his team played, Hodgson is quoted to have said: "For me, it was a very good team performance. Everybody did their very best to keep us in the game. We defended properly and we attacked properly.”

"I think we played well, we played against a top team, they do ask questions of you, they're very patient, they've got a lot of talented players, when they get the ball in your final third they don't panic."
He then admitted that the defence was quite disciplined in the game and proved to everyone that they could easily go on and hold their lines when asked to

"You have to very disciplined in your defending, to get a 1-1 draw and ask the questions of them that we did, you have to be quite happy."
England will now be looking to build on this performance, as they look to try and pick up wins from their coming games.
The group is currently anyone’s for the taking and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 will be hoping to turn the odds in their favour over the coming few games.
