  1. Hey 51

As you know we get bugger all coverage of the AMA in the uk- so a quick google found this among other things:

    http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/arti...

which makes me think, that it's gonna be a one team cup (Honda) next year!

Dunno if that's an accurate (quick) analysis - but if so, commiserations due, there's nothing worse than knowing the outcome of a race/championship before it's run!!

Am glad to see Hodgson has got a decent ride though.

  2. Jake is one of the really cool guys that I do keep my ears open for. Never big headed and not a cry baby.

Im sure if his talent is noticed in the UK the US teams will snap him on a full factory bit of kit.

Miguel is nearly 70 years young, but , he is STILL cutting the mustard.

Im sure, [ like every year since Foggy stopped racing ], the AMA will blow the bolloxs off the WSB championship.

  3. Good news for AMA, bad news for WSBK. I was hoping, with Toseland moving up to Moto GP we'd have another high profile Brit in the series. But obviously American Honda made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

I'm surprised they've  kept Miguel and got rid of Jake (is that confirmed or is there a third bike?). Out of the three riders, Jake's the baby of the bunch, and although I've not had much of a chance to follow AMA this year, his results seem at least on par with Duhamel's. You would have thought that youth at least would  be on his side. (Although all Three are not exactly spring chickens as far as motorcycle racings concerned!)

Maybe he's had an offer from another team. Whatever happens, I'm sure he'll get a ride. But it'll seem strange if its on anything other than a Honda!

With all due respect to Miguel Duhamel, if Hogsons performance at Laguna is anything to go by (new bike etc) he should be able to give those pesky Suzuki's a better run for their money. And with an all new CBR hopefully more competative, maybe break their domination. Lets just hope the bike doesn't need too much developing.

Matt and Ben will still take a lot of beating. But I really hope that Neil can be the first to win WSBK, BSB and AMA.

  4. Hey 51 - What's up?  While I'm not really up to speed on Superbike riders or the sport in general for that matter  I'll tell you what I do know.  For years Hodgson rode the Ducati and as of late expressed interest in riding other bikes.  He rode a Honda in a race with factory support  and said he really liked several things about the bike.  I don't know if he's looking for a better bike or if something is going on between him and Ducati. My guess is YES, he will be riding a Honda next year.
