  1. if you live in the UK you cant work a full day in a proper paid job until you're 16, and still then i think you can only work 1 day a week, saturday or sunday.

99.9% of employers will turn you down in the UK because you're too young and theres pretty much NO CHANCE you'll end up working for photography or fashion because they want people with qualifications, realisticly you'll most likely just be stacking shelves and cleaning, however you can still do the local paper round, which you have to be 13 to do.

However you are eligible to work in your parents business or in agriculture (farming) at the age of 13-14 and if you do manage to get a job you can work no longer than 5 hours and only for one day a week otherwise your parents and your employer could get in trouble with the law.

  2. get a paper round

  3. Fast food places hire young people.

  4. My 14 year old daughter is going to be working at the YMCA in the childcare department at the end of this month.  She is excited and I am very proud of her determination.

  5. well i say slow down i think ur getting ahead of urself so just stick to babysitting and ul get ur big break eventually

  6. First of all, brush up on your grammar, spelling and general writing skills.  If you write like you speak, you won't get very far.  You can tell the type of education a person has by the way they write.  Most places don't hire under the age of 15 (depending on your state) and then you have to have a work permit signed by your school and parents.  There are laws about how many hours you can work up to a certain age (again, depending on your state).  I'd say start out volunteering at a place that interests you like a veterinarian's office, after school program  or your local hospital.  You're more likely to get hired when you're eligible that way.  DON"T GIVE UP!
