them.
Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness has changed his earlier statement about his league counterparts Borussia Dortmund’s value in European football. The club official had claimed that Dortmund will always be behind Bayern in terms
of success and would never be able to become more famous than Der FCB side outside the country.
The 60-year-old previously stated that the German double winning side were only successful in domestic football compared to the FC Hollywood club’s success on the European front, reaching twice in the finals of the UEFA Champions
League in the last three years, although the BVB did win the premier competition in 1997.

Die Bayern in both Bundesliga and German cup was a huge accomplishment for the BVB outfit.

The two Bundesliga giants have played each other in the start of the campaign, with the Borussians facing a 2-1 defeat at the hands of the Bavarian giants in the DFL-Super Cup.
